The Metabo WPB 18 LT BL 11-150 Quick 5.5 Kit 6” Brushless Braking Angle Grinder is a German-engineered tool designed for safety, productivity, and durability in various industrial applications such as grinding, cutting, beveling, and deburring. Powered by Metabo's 2nd generation BRUSHLESS Motor technology, this grinder delivers true 1,100 Watt/11.0Ah corded power equivalent at 10,000 RPM, resulting in a 40% increase in output for superior performance. The motor runs cooler, maximizes energy transfer from the battery to the spindle, and provides the highest efficiency for extended run time and maximum continuous power.

Safety features of the grinder include the patented Metabo S-Automatic safety slip clutch and electronic safety cut-out, which reduce the risk of kickback and immediately stop the tool in case of an accessory jam. The ergonomic non-locking paddle switch minimizes fatigue and de-energizes the motor upon release, activating the electronic Metabo Brake System to stop the wheel in 2.5 seconds or less for enhanced operator safety. Additionally, the M-Quick System allows for fast tool-free wheel changes with the touch of a large spindle lock button.
